Man shot in leg near Modesto’s Creekwood Park

Responding Monday night to reports of a shooting in the area of Creekside Park, Modesto police located a 34-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his right thigh.

The shooting occurred about 11 p.m., and the victim was found in the area of Yosemite Boulevard and McClure Road, said police Lt. Terry Seese. The victim was uncooperative and provided no information on a suspect or suspects, Seese said.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
