Fourth person shot on Modesto’s Oak Street in two weeks
A fourth person was injured Thursday in the second drive-by shooting in as many weeks at the same location in west Modesto.
Multiple shots were fired from a white car in the 300 block of Oak Street around 3 p.m., said Modesto police Sgt. Patrick Kimes.
A man was hit once in the hip. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
On April 5, three men were shot during a drive-by shooting at the same location. All three suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Kimes said detectives are investigating the two incidents. No one has been arrested in either case.
