The victims left the vehicle but were found nearby and taken to a hospital.
The suspects fled the scene. No motive was established although it was early in the investigation.
Seconds after the victim’s were struck, their vehicle hit a car parked on South Madison at a low speed.
It appeared the parked car was occupied and one person from that car was taken by ambulance to a hospital, although that could not be immediately confirmed.
We’ll have more on this story as information becomes available.
