Man stabbed at south Modesto trailer park

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man on Wednesday suspected of stabbing a man at a trailer park in south Modesto.

Deputies were dispatched to a fight at the trailer park in the 600 Block of River Road at about 9:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Anthony Bejaran.

When deputies arrived, emergency medical personnel told them a 30-year-old man had been stabbed several times in his upper body and was taken to a local hospital.

Deputies learned there was a fight in the trailer park just before the victim was stabbed. They identified 33 year-old Thomas Bingham as a suspect and found him in a nearby trailer, Bejaran said.

He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and probation violation.

The victim is expected to survive, Bejaran said.
