Four juveniles cited for vandalism in Riverbank

Four juveniles have been cited by Riverbank police for a number of vandalism cases that occurred over a 10-day period last month.

Riverbank Police Services deputies began investigating several reported incidents of graffiti that occurred Jan. 10-19. Five cases of vandalism were reported, with the suspects tagging miscellaneous signs and symbols on businesses, homes and vehicles. All of the tags appeared to be coming from the same suspects.

Through their investigation, detectives were able to identify four juveniles responsible for the tagging. Three males, 16-17 years of age, and one 15-year-old female were cited for vandalism.

No other reports of similar type of vandalism have been made since the juveniles were cited.
