Groveland man suspected of shooting at girlfriend’s home
A Groveland man was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of shooting at his girlfriend’s house and hitting it with his truck.
At about 3:30 a.m. the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department received a report that Todd Everett Anderson, 22, went to his girlfriend’s Groveleand home intoxicated, started a fight with her relatives and hit the house with his truck before driving away with her in the vehicle.
A few minutes after leaving, Anderson allegedly drove back to his girlfriend’s house and fired several gunshots. No one inside was injured.
Anderson was located a short time later at his home and found to be in possession of a stolen handgun. Anderson’s girlfriend was found with him and was uninjured.
Anderson was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at an inhabited dwelling and possession of stolen property.
