Modesto man gets 4 years in prison for May DUI crash
A Modesto man was sentenced Monday to four years and four months in prison for a DUI crash earlier this year in Turlock that badly injured an occupant of another vehicle.
William Seibold, 42, pleaded no contest to the felony charge of driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher and causing injury.
At about 11 p.m. May 15, Seibold was northbound on First Street in Turlock when he ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle that was heading west on F Street. The crash injured both occupants of the other vehicle. One victim required surgery to repair his abdominal wall and remove his small intestine.
A breath test determined Seibold’s blood alcohol level to be 0.13 percent, according to a news release from the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.
