One detained after stabbing outside Patterson restaurant

A man was stabbed after an altercation at Pizza Plus in Patterson Thursday evening.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the incident on S. El Circulo Avenue at about 5 p.m.

The stabbing occurred outside the restaurant.

Deputy Royjindar Singh said the dispute involved multiple people and was gang-related.

Deputies interviewed several witnesses and detained one person following a foot pursuit, but no one was arrested.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a Modesto hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
