Three masked men rob Modesto convenience store
Three masked men armed with guns robbed a convenience store in central Modesto on Monday night, taking cash from the register and personal belongings from the clerk.
Modesto police on Tuesday released a surveillance video that captures the men as they entered Sam’s Corner Store on Lucern Avenue, their faces covered in masks and guns drawn.
One of the suspects can be seen ordering a customer to the ground while another goes behind the counter, where the clerk stands with his hands in the air.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and a wallet and jewelry from the clerk.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
