Pedestrian critically hurt in hit-and-run on Modesto’s Paradise Road

A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday in the area of Paradise Road and Sutter Avenue.

The crash occurred about 3:35 a.m. The identity of the a 64-year-old male victim was not released by investigators. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators are looking for a light-colored utility-type truck with significant damage on the passenger side.
