DUI patrols in Modesto this weekend

Officers will look for drunken drivers Friday night with roving saturation patrols in Modesto.

The patrols are made up of officers assigned to look solely for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs in areas with frequent of DUI crashes or arrests, according to Modesto police.

The DUI enforcement is funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
