Authorities are looking for two men in the shooting death of a man at a mobile home park along the San Joaquin River over the weekend.

Gabriel Rodriguez, 57, was shot to death in Martin’s Mobile Home Park at 26648 River Road on Saturday night, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department reported. The park is near George Hatfield State Park.

According to Sgt. Anthony Bejaran, deputies were called to the park at 8:51 p.m. on a report of shots fired.

Deputies found Rodriguez outside one of the trailers. Emergency responders treated Rodriguez, but he died at the scene. On Monday, officials confirmed Rodriguez lived in the park and that he suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Also Monday, Bejaran said detectives are looking for two men seen in a 1990s single-cab, dark-colored Dodge truck who may have been involved. Both were described only as Latino male adults.
