Man beaten, robbed at gunpoint in Oakdale
An armed robbery at a market at 4 p.m. Friday left one man injured. Oakdale police say they have arrested a juvenile and are seeking an adult robber.
The man reported being beaten and threatened with a firearm by a teen and a man, who took his wallet and other items at a market at Sixth and F streets, said Sgt. Brian Shimmel on Saturday.
A police statement issued Saturday evening said the man had visible injuries. A girl, 15, was found with the missing property and arrested, charged with armed robbery, destruction of evidence and having drug paraphernalia, Shimmel said.
Police are seeking a man described as a white male in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build and tattoos on both arms. He had dark facial hair on his chin and was wearing dark clothing and a hat.
