DUI Patrols this weekend in Modesto

Officers will be looking for drunken drivers with roving saturation patrols Saturday night in Modesto.

The patrols are made up of officers assigned to look solely for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The patrols will focus on areas with a high frequency of DUI crashes or arrests, according to Modesto police.

The DUI enforcement is funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
