Modesto Police seek two in pizza delivery robbery
Modesto Police are looking for two men who robbed a Pizza Guys pizza delivery employee in Central Modesto Monday night.
The suspects ordered about $100 worth of pizza to be delivered to an apartment in the 200 block of East Coolidge Avenue, said Modesto police spokeswoman Heather Graves.
The victim arrived at the apartment complex at about 10:30 p.m. and found that it was gated so he called the man who ordered the pizza. The man said he would come downstairs to open the gate, Graves said.
A short time later two black men in their mid-20s, wearing black pants, approached the delivery man’s car and one of them lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband, Graves said.
The suspects took a small amount of cash from the delivery man and fled the scene.
