Oakdale arrests tied to Tuolumne County burglaries
Two men arrested in Oakdale on Sunday face charges related to several Tuolumne County burglaries. They also face drug charges because a search also revealed a marijuana extraction lab on their property.
Oakdale Police Department officers assisted in serving a search warrant at 260 Johnson Ave. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team took several people into custody after searching the residence and locating stolen property, according to a news release from Oakdale police.
Joshua Tomlinson, 32, and Mark Todd Tomlinson, 34, were arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property and manufacturing drugs.
The search warrant was generated by several burglaries in the Tuolumne County area and traced back to the Johnson Avenue residence after an Oakdale officer located stolen property on the scene, the news release said. After further search, the marijuana lab was found.
