Riverbank man arrested for alleged involvement in Ripon shooting
A Riverbank man was arrested Friday for his alleged involvment in a June shooting near downtown Ripon.
Donovyn Hooper George, 30, was taken into custody without incident by detectives with the Ripon Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit after they served a search warrant at a residence in Riverbank.
In the June 9 shooting, the victim suffered serious, but nonlife-threatening injuries.
George was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on multiple felony charges.
