Beyer High School was briefly placed on lockdown Monday morning at 10:20 after an anonymous caller made a threat against the campus. The 2025-26 school year ended Friday, meaning classes were not in session during the lockdown. The lockdown was lifted by 11:30 a.m.

Campus officials called the Modesto Police Department after they received the call.

A small number of students were on campus for baseball practice and welding when the lockdown went into place, but all students and staff on campus are safe. MPD is investigating to determine the caller’s identity.
