Law enforcement secured Patterson High School and confirmed there was no threat after investigating a report of “possible explosive devices and an individual potentially armed with a firearm on campus,” according to a Facebook post from the Patterson Police Services branch of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office.

All roadways near Patterson High School are now open.

The Patterson Irrigator reported that Superintendent Reyes Gauna told parents at the Hammon Senior Center that a similar call was made at a high school in Manteca around the same time the alleged threat at Patterson High was reported. Calla High School in the Manteca Unified School District was placed on lockdown today, according to the Manteca Police Department.
