Six arrested in Turlock drug bust
The Turlock Police Narcotics Enforcemenet team arrested six people and recovered 49 packets of heroin during a search on Tuesday.
Accorting to authorities, police served a search warrant in the 200 block of Angelus Street, where officers suspected there were ongoing sales of narcotics.
“Detectives located and seized 49 individually packaged baggies of heroin weighing over 36 grams,” officer Mayra Lewis said in a news release.
Albert Padilla, 38, was arrested and booked into Stanislaus County Jail on a charge of possession of heroin for sales. Five others also were arrested: Daniel Cox, 36, was arrested for an outstanding domestic violence warrant, Linda Vigil, 50, was arrested for an outstanding child endangerment warrant, Felicia Vigil, 24, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, Shauntae Moore, 39 years, was arrested on an outstanding drug possession warrant, and Lalonnie Arquette, 43 years old, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
