Two 19-year-olds from SF arrested for human trafficking of Patterson girl, 14

Two 19-year-olds from San Francisco have been arrested for human trafficking of a minor from Patterson, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department announced on Friday.

According to a news release, the sheriff’s Special Victims Unit was notified of the missing 14-year-old girl on Dec. 31 at about 7 a.m.

Detectives worked to find the missing girl, and she was recovered the next day, the sheriff’s department said.

As a result of the investigation, Bexy Arellanes, a 19-year-old woman, and David Samaniego, a 19-year-old man, were arrested and charged with human trafficking of a minor.

Arellanes and Samaniego were booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, and this investigation remains ongoing, the news release said.
