A 38-year-old Turlock man was arrested Wednesday on charges involving child sexual abuse material after a tip led to an investigation, police said.

Paul Donald Fenocchio Jr. was arrested after an investigation into online child exploitation, according to a Turlock Police Department Facebook post.

A CyberTip received through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children led to the investigation, police said.

Fenocchio was located at his residence in the 200 block of Miles Court and transported to the Turlock Police Department for questioning.

Fenocchio was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Facility.

Two cellphones were seized as evidence, Turlock police said.

“These cases are difficult but critically important,” said Det. Gina Giovacchini, the lead investigator on the case. “Every CyberTip represents a real child who has been harmed. We take these reports seriously and will continue working to identify offenders and protect victims.”

Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact Giovacchini at 209-668-6539.
