Sheriff’s Office investigating homicide after man found dead in Modesto
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead last week in Modesto.
Deputies responded about 3:42 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, to a call about a body in the 1400 block of Pauline Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Office. They found Gilbert Bejaran, 52, of Modesto, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit determined the death to be a homicide, but investigators have not released details about what led to the killing.
