Reward for missing teen
The Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the return of 16-year-old Erinn Rogers, lwho disappeared almost two years ago and was last seen in Modesto.
Erinn, who was 14 years old at the time, was dropped off at Peterson Educational Pathways School in Modesto at 8 a.m. Jan. 8, 2007, said deputy Royjindar Singh, a Stanislaus County sheriff's spokesman. Singh said Erinn was supposed to go to a friend's home after school, but she never arrived. Erinn does not have a history of running away, he said.
Sheriff's officials said Erinn is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and has a scar on her forehead. She last was seen wearing a black sweat shirt and blue jeans.
To date, the Carole Sund/Carrington foundation has paid $272,600 in rewards to people who have provided information to authorities. The Sheriff's Department asks anyone with information to call detectives at 525-7114. Callers also can leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 521-4636.
