Stockton man accused of sexually abusing 15-year-old Waterford girl

Breaking news

A Stockton man was arrested this week on suspicion of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl he met online and recording videos of the encounters, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office.

Enrique Orozco Guzman, 29, was booked Tuesday into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on a list of charges that include lewd acts with a minor, oral copulation and multiple child pornography violations.

The investigation began July 13 when Waterford Police Services deputies received a report from the teenage victim, who told investigators she met a man on social media and was later coerced into sneaking out of her home at night for sexual encounters.

Detectives identified the suspect as Orozco Guzman and took over the case. On July 22, authorities say, he was arrested while attempting to meet with a second underage victim. During an interview, he admitted to having sexual encounters with the first girl, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A search of his phone turned up videos recorded during those encounters, investigators said.

Orozco Guzman faces multiple felony charges, including possession, manufacturing and distribution of child pornography, the Sheriff’s Office said. His arraignment date has not been announced.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities believe there could be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Ruezga at 209-652-0724. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers at 866-602-7463.
