Man uses pellet gun to rob Wienerschnitzel in Modesto

Modesto police are looking for a man who robbed the Wienerschnitzel restaurant on the 200 block of McHenry Avenue on Monday.

After entering the restaurant, the suspect, a Latino male believed to be in his 20s, presented what turned out to be a pellet gun and began to struggle with employees.

A female employee struck the suspect several times, causing the man to drop his pellet gun. The man then grabbed a handful of money and fled on a bicycle.
