Two men shot early Saturday in downtown Modesto, police say suspect not yet known
Two men were shot early Saturday morning in downtown Modesto, police said.
Officers with the Modesto Police Department were called around 2 a.m. to the area of 10th and J streets, Lt. Joe Bottoms said. The shooting occurred outside.
The two men do not have life-threatening injuries. Bottoms did not give any further details about what happened or any identifying information.
Bottoms said the investigation is ongoing. Detectives are following leads but have no known suspect at this time.
