Two Ceres parents have been arrested and charged in connection with the July death of their baby, police said.
Officers responded around 1 a.m. on July 5 to the 2100 block of East Whitmore Avenue for a report of a child that was possibly deceased, the Ceres Police Department said.
The baby was then transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
