Tuolumne County man suspected of downloading child porn
A Tuolumne County man was arrested on suspicion of downloading child porn, authorities said Thursday.
Cameron Cisco, who used to live in Murphys, was arrested at his residence near Jamestown on Monday and booked into Tuolumne County Jail until he can be transferred to the Calaveras County Jail.
On Friday, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department detectives contacted Cisco in regards to an ongoing investigation regarding child pornography. Evidence suggested Cisco had downloaded images of child porn, according to Sgt. Anthony Eberhardt.
Detectives submitted their findings to the Calaveras County District Attorney’s Office, which issued an arrest warrant. Cisco’s bail was set at $15,000.
