Possible pipe bomb found in Turlock

A possible pipe bomb attached to a piece of drywall was found on the 1100 block of East Marshall Street, near East Minaret Avenue, on Monday morning, according to police.

The report came in about 8:05 a.m. and the bomb squad responded, Sgt. Stephen Webb said. The scene was cleared and reopened by about 10:30 a.m. No further information was available.

The 100 block of Marshall includes the E Cademy Charter at Crane School, which faces Cahill Street.
