Update: Shooting kills man in southeast Modesto, police report

Update: The shooting victims succumbed to his wounds, police said. We will have more information as it’s available.

Original story: A man suffered a gunshot wound in southeast Modesto on Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported at 7:45 p.m. on the 2400 block of Glendale Avenue, two blocks north of Yosemite Boulevard. The victim was transported to a local hospital, police said.

The names of the shooter and victim and other details were not available. No arrest was reported as of 9 p.m.
