Victim in shooting south of Modesto in critical condition, Sheriff’s Department says

A 36-year-old man shot in the abdomen was in critical condition when taken to a hospital Tuesday night, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The shooting occurred south of Modesto shortly after 7 p.m. at a mobile home park in the 600 block of Olivero Road, southeast of East Hatch and Crows Landing roads, Lt. Joshua Clayton said.

No suspect information was released.
