Two teens arrested in Village I strong armed robbery
Two teenagers were arrested in connection with a strong-armed robbery at a Village I apartment complex on Friday afternoon.
The victim met the two suspect at the apartment complex at Floyd and Roselle avenues at about 5 p.m. to sell them shoes he’d advertised on Craigslist, said Modesto Police Lt. Ivan Valencia.
The teens are accused for forcefully taking the shoes and money from the suspect then fleeing east into the neighborhood.
One of the suspects was apprehended at gunpoint in the area of Ashrbook Drive. The second suspect was later arrested.
The property was not recovered, Valencia said.
