Man is expected to survive shooting in Patterson

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department’s Patterson Police Services is investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening.

A man in his mid-20s suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, Sgt. Wade Carr said Thursday morning.

The shooting took place off North Hartley Street. No information on a suspect or suspects and the circumstances of the incident was available Thursday morning.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information on it is urged to contact Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. Tips also can be submitted via www.stancrimetips.org.
