Update: Missing 8-year-old girl is found safe, Modesto police say

Modesto police have located the 8-year-old girl who had been reported missing Wednesday evening.
The unidentified child had left a northeast Modesto home after an argument, police said in an initial Facebook alert.
“The missing child was located and is safe,” an update said. “Thank you everyone who assisted with the search.”
