Six people were arrested on suspicion of auto theft in Stanislaus County from May 28 through Wednesday.


SUSPECT: Carl Bratton, 35, Modesto

DATE ARRESTED: May 28

ARRESTING AGENCY: Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force

CHARGES: Auto theft, theft or extortion involving a motor vehicle or trailer, owning or operating a chop shop, possession of non-narcotic controlled substance, rearrest or revocation of probation


SUSPECT: Ramon Gonzalez, 33, Turlock

DATE ARRESTED: Sunday

ARRESTING AGENCY: Turlock Police Department

CHARGES: Auto theft, inflicting corporal injury on spouse or co-habitant, battery, possession of burglary tools, rearrest or revocation of probation


SUSPECT: Karl Obert II, 27, Modesto

DATE ARRESTED: Monday

ARRESTING AGENCY: Modesto Police Department

CHARGES: Auto theft, kidnapping, threatening crime with intent to terrorize


SUSPECT: Brandon Walker, 24, transient

DATE ARRESTED: Monday

ARRESTING AGENCY: MPD

CHARGES: Auto theft, attempted receipt of stolen property, possession of non-narcotic controlled substance, rearrest or revocation of probation, flash incarceration


SUSPECT: Bryce Laviano, 20, Modesto

DATE ARRESTED: Wednesday

ARRESTING AGENCY: MPD

CHARGES: Auto theft, attempted receipt of stolen property, possession of burglary tools


SUSPECT: Robert Olmos, 44, Modesto

DATE ARRESTED: Wednesday

ARRESTING AGENCY: StanCATT

CHARGES: Auto theft, attempted receipt of stolen property, evading, obstructing an officer in the performance of his duty
