5 arrested in stabbing at Jamestown residence
Five people have been arrested in connection with the May 14 stabbing of a 30-year-old man at his home in Jamestown, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Investigators learned that six people were having a party with the victim at his Bench Drive home. An argument ensued between the victim and the others, which led to a physical altercation. The victim was attacked by at least four of the suspects, and one used a knife to stab the man multiple times. The injuries were life-threatening and the victim was transported to Modesto for surgery.
After the attack, two of the suspects entered the victim’s house and removed personal items, according to the Sheriff’s Office. As the suspects were getting into a vehicle, the victim asked them to return his items to him and at that time realized that he had been stabbed.
All six suspects got into a vehicle and left the area with the victim’s possessions.
The Sheriff’s Office has identified all six suspects and made five arrests: two male adults and three juvenile females.
Mackenzie Darr, 20, of Sonora and Jonathan Joseph Ross, 18, of Cedar Ridge were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, home invasion robbery and conspiracy. Because the females are juveniles, their identities will not be released, the Sheriff’s Office said.
