Turlock shooting leaves man, 18, with injuries

An 18-year-old man suffered nonlife-threatening injuries after being shot in Turlock on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred this afternoon in the 900 block of North Olive Avenue, Turlock police Officer Mayra Lewis said.

The site is near Canal Drive, a few blocks from downtown Turlock.

Police were on the scene investigating the incident into the evening.
