Sheriff's Department investigating fatal hit and run in Patterson

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is investigating a hit and run that left a 23-year-old Patterson man dead early Thanksgiving morning.

Angel-Bobby Singh Medina was struck by a car while walking eastbound in the 800 block of Sperry Road at about 4:30 a.m. He died at the scene, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.

The driver fled the scene. The Sheriff's Department did not have a description of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on the hit and run is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636. Tipsters can email through the Crime Stoppers website, www.stancrimetips.org. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.

Loual Cordova, 43, of Modesto was arrested by the Ceres Police Department on Feb. 20, 2019, in connection with an October 2018 disturbance outside a Ceres grocery store. A SWAT team confronted him in west Modesto.
