Turlock robbery leads to police chase, ends in Stockton with arrests
Police investigators have arrested four Sacramento men suspected of robbing a Turlock Walgreens pharmacy before they led authorities on a chase that ended in Stockton with their capture.
Robert Frazier, 23, Daequan Owens, 23, Nalon Rapier, 19, and Gregory Hendricks, 24, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, according to a new release from the Turlock Police Department.
The robbery occurred about 6:15 p.m. at the Walgreens in the 1500 block of Geer Road near Hawkeye Avenue in Turlock. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at the pharmacy.
Police said the robbery suspects drove away in a vehicle that was followed by a witness, who helped Turlock police officers find the getaway vehicle.
The officers tried to pull over the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to stop. The police pursuit ensued, which involved several agencies including Modesto police and the California Highway Patrol.
Police said the suspects headed north on Highway 99, where the vehicle was ultimately stopped by the CHP in Stockton. All four suspects were then taken into custody. Turlock police officials drove to Stockton to arrest the suspects and bring them back to be booked at the Stanislaus County Jail.
It was unclear whether the suspects were armed with weapons during the robbery, what was stolen or if any injuries were reported. No further information was immediately available from Turlock police Monday afternoon.
