DUI checkpoint in Modesto
Police will look for drunken drivers tonight with a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Modesto.
Officers also will look for drivers without valid licenses at the checkpoint. Modesto police said those arrested face jail time, loss of their licenses and increased insurance rates.
The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
