Patterson stabbing victim taken to hospital

Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies were looking for a suspect after a stabbing Thursday evening at the Valero station at First Street and Las Palmas Avenue in Patterson.

A Latino man with a shaved head and facial hair fled in a light blue Oldsmobile sport utility vehicle. The vehicle was last seen headed west toward Highway 33. “We are still trying to identify the suspect,” sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Buck said.

The stabbing victim was taken by ground ambulance to a Modesto hospital. His condition was not available. The incident occurred at about 8:10 p.m.
