Watch: felony stop of a stolen car in downtown Modesto

With guns drawn, Modesto Police on Tuesday afternoon ordered three men from a stolen car in busy downtown Modesto.

The felony car stop occurred at 12th and J streets at about 1:30 p.m.. Officers pulled over an Acura belonging to a Manteca resident that was stolen from medical officers on Florida Avenue in Modesto Monday afternoon.

The driver and two passengers were ordered out of the car at gunpoint, handcuffed and put into patrol cars.

Only the driver, Marcus Lopez, was arrested. He was booked on suspicion of auto theft and possession of stolen property.
