Teen arrested for jumping on hood of police patrol car
A 17-year-old Davis High School student was arrested Wednesday after Modesto Police identified him as the boy who stomped the hood of a patrol car.
An officer was investigating a separate incident at the high school on West Rumble Road last week when he returned to his patrol car to find a large dent in the hood with a shoe print in the middle.
Through their investigation, officers identified the 17-year-old boy as the culprit. He was booked into Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of felony vandalism.
