Modesto men wanted in connection with Calaveras trafficking case
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance locating two Modesto men who are wanted in connection with the human trafficking of four brothers.
The brothers, also from Modesto, were beaten and held captive under the threat of violence to their family and forced to work at a large outdoor marijuana grow in a remote area of Calaveras County near West Point.
The story broke last month when the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office arrested two of their alleged captors, Guadalupe Serra Arrellano and Medarda Urbieta Estudillo.
Arrest warrants have now been issued for Roberto Estudillo Urbieta for drug charges and criminal threats and for Armando Suarez Jr. on drug charges.
Urbieta is 30 years-old with black hair, brown eyes and distinct eyebrows. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Urbieta has tattoos on his right hand and a tattoo of red lips on the right side of his neck.
Suarez has black hair and brown eyes, is 5-foot-5 and weighs 165 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Urbieta or Suarez is asked to call the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at 209-754-6500 or the anonymous tip line at (209) 754-6030.
