YESTERYEARS
50 YEARS AGO: Hughson Union High School District residents would vote April 20 on measures presented by the district. The two measures were a 30 cent tax increase and a $500,000 bond for the district. Additionally, the vote would include electing trustees to seats in the county, including representation for the Modesto Junior College District. The tax increase would go to funding a full-time librarian, among other things.
