Fire crews responded to a call of smoke coming from the Harvest Moon restaurant on I Street in downtown Modesto on Monday morning.
There was no visible smoke or flames when they arrived.
Crews went to the second floor of the building that houses the popular downtown eatery. But they came down about 20 minutes later and packed up to leave.
