Fog delays school buses in Ceres, Escalon and Hughson

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for Monday morning, and some schools are delaying their buses until the weather clears.

According to radio station KAT Country 103, Ceres Unified buses will run two hours late, and Escalon Unified and some buses in Hughson will be one hour late.

The area’s largest district, Modesto City Schools, also returns to session today after a three-week winter break.

The fog advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.
