Coroner officials looking for Modesto man’s family

Stanislaus County coroner officials on Tuesday were looking for the family of a Modesto man who died Sunday.

James “Jimmy” William Ferrell, 58, appeared to have died from natural causes, but his death was still being investigated. He was found dead inside his pickup.

Coroner officials say Ferrell lived at a home on South Seventh Street in Modesto and frequented the Seventh Street Flea Market.

Anyone with information on how to find Ferrell’s family was asked to call Detective Martin Machado at (209) 567-4500.
