A blast of ‘Frozen’ fun at MJC

“Frozen” is still hot, hot, hot. The Disney animated smash hit, which has spawned an avalanche of merchandise that’s filling advertising circulars now that the holiday season is near, was the theme of a Modesto Junior College musical program Friday night. “Frozen – A Family Holiday Choral Concert” brought together the MJC choirs and included songs from the story of sister princesses Anna and Elsa, who now are household names to little girls across the world. Modesto native, MJC alumna and former “Glee” guest star Lindsay Pearce sang the film’s signature song, “Let It Go.” The concert also included traditional Christmas carols, children’s holiday songs and seasonal music. Next weekend, the “Frozen” frenzy continues with a singalong screening of the movie Nov. 29 at the State Theatre, 1307 J St.
